I know the Bible is inspired because it inspires me. – A. B. S. * * * * * If the higher critics of today would let the Lord use the Sword of the Spirit upon their hearts, they would not use their pen-knives upon His Bible. * * * * * “If ye abide in Me and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and is shall be done unto you.” There is no effectual prayer which is not offered in Christ’s Name, and there is no praying in His Name where His words are rejected, denied or doubted. * * * * * D. L. Moody had a Bible in which was written, “This Book will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from this Book.” * * * * * “If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine.” It was not until I took my Bible one day and clasped it to my heart and said, “Every promise which this Book holds, every direction which I understand init I take as my law and my life,” that I had no trouble in understanding these truths. – A.
